1. Who is responsible

This policy explains how propfirmgauge.com (“we”) handles personal data on this website. The controller of your personal data is the team that builds and operates propfirmgauge.com. You can reach the controller at the address below.

Questions about this policy: contact@propfirmgauge.com.

2. What we collect and why

Analytics, only with your consent. If you click Accept in the cookie banner, we load Google Analytics 4 to count visits and see which pages are useful. Google Analytics sets first-party cookies and processes data such as the pages you view, the page you came from, your approximate location, your device and your browser. We do not turn on advertising features, remarketing or ad personalization. If you click Reject or make no choice, Google Analytics is not loaded at all.

Server logs. The site is hosted and delivered by Cloudflare. To deliver pages and protect the site against abuse, Cloudflare processes technical data for each request, such as your IP address, the page requested, the time, and your browser’s user agent. We use this only to run and secure the site.

Your cookie choice. We store your Accept or Reject choice in your browser so we do not ask on every page. This is needed for the site to respect your choice and contains no personal data.

Email. If you email us, we use your email address and message only to reply to you and to keep a record of corrections and firm replies.

Links to firms. When you follow a link to a prop firm’s website, that site may set its own cookies under its own privacy policy. If a link earns us a commission, we receive only reports of sales, not your identity.

We do not ask you to create an account, and we do not run a newsletter or a contact form.

For visitors in the EU, the EEA and the UK (GDPR and UK GDPR):

  • analytics: your consent, which you can withdraw at any time;
  • server logs: our legitimate interest in delivering and securing the site;
  • replying to email: our legitimate interest in answering you.

5. Sharing and transfers

We share data only with the services that run the site: Cloudflare (hosting and delivery) and Google (analytics, only with your consent). These providers may process data outside your country. Where they do, they rely on safeguards recognised by data protection law, such as Standard Contractual Clauses.

We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising.

6. How long we keep data

  • Google Analytics data is kept for the retention period set in our Google Analytics account, which is 14 months or less.
  • Cloudflare keeps server logs for a limited period under its own policies.
  • Emails are kept as long as needed to answer you and keep a record of corrections, then deleted.

7. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

  • ask what personal data we hold about you and get a copy;
  • ask us to correct or delete it;
  • object to or restrict how we use it;
  • withdraw your consent to analytics at any time, without affecting what happened before;
  • complain to your data protection authority.

If you live in California or another US state with a privacy law, you can ask to know and delete the personal information we hold about you. We do not sell or share personal information, so there is nothing to opt out of.

To use any of these rights, email contact@propfirmgauge.com. We may need to confirm the request comes from you. We will answer within the time the law where you live allows.

8. Children

This site is for adults. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.

9. Changes to this policy

When our practices change, we update this page and the date at the top.
