How we make money

Last updated 2026-10-26

  • We may earn a commission if you buy a challenge through a link on this site.
  • No firm can pay for a review, a ranking or a better evidence grade.
  • Rankings are fixed by our methodology before any link is added. Commission is not a criterion.
  • We do not earn from Apex Trader Funding, nor from Crypto Fund Trader while it is on the FINMA warning list.
  • We never hold, handle or refund your money.

The plain model

This site is free to read. Its planned income is affiliate commission: if you buy a challenge or evaluation through a tracked link on this site, the firm may pay us a commission. The price you pay is the same.

Today no affiliate programme has approved us. Links to firms are untracked and earn us nothing. The line “we may earn a commission” on our pages covers programmes we may join later; when one approves us, it will be listed below with the date.

We do not sell paid rankings, sponsored reviews or advertising placements to the firms we cover.

Programmes we are part of

We plan to apply to affiliate programmes. None has approved us yet. This page will list each one, with the date, once it does.

Until then, links to firms on this site go to the firm’s official site without tracking, and we earn nothing from them.

Firms we do not earn from

  • Apex Trader Funding. We will not join its affiliate programme. In July 2026 one affiliate reported, in a forum post we could not open, that Apex ended affiliate relationships and withheld commissions; Apex has not confirmed it, and we found no second source. Apex’s payout record also includes reported delays and denials (see the Apex review). We still review the firm, but its pages carry no buy button, only source links.
  • Crypto Fund Trader. We will not earn from this firm while it is on the FINMA warning list. Its pages carry no buy button for as long as the warning stands.

What commission does not change

  • Rankings. The order of every list is set by the evidence grade, the split in the terms, the payout cap and the cost of one attempt, as described in our methodology. It is fixed before any link is added. A firm we earn nothing from can rank first.
  • Evidence grades. Grades come from public evidence only. A firm cannot buy a better grade.
  • Warnings. Regulator warnings, denied payouts and rule changes are reported whether or not we earn from the firm.
  • Button labels. Every link to a firm uses the same label and look, whether or not we earn from it.

Refunds and your money

We are a publisher, not a broker or a firm. We never hold, handle or move your money. Refunds, payouts, chargebacks and account disputes are between you and the firm you bought from. If a firm reverses a sale, it may claw back our commission; that is between the firm and us and has no effect on what we publish.

Buying a challenge carries real risk of losing the fee. Read the risk disclaimer before you buy.
